Restoration

When Palazzo d’Arcato was purchased in 2001 by the present owners, the beautiful hilltop ruin sat quietly amongst the pine trees and shrubbery which had been untouched for decades.

In Lugliano the restoration of Palazzo d’Arcato started in 2002 with cleaning and clearing the tonnes of stone and brambles that lay beneath. With the Architect Roberto Profili, the Giacchini Giuseppe Construction Company and the owners, the Palazzo has been restored with heartfelt accuracy and attention to detail. The apartments have preserved the original features keeping the atmosphere and history of the Palazzo alive with original Florentine terracotta floors, chestnut wooden beams with all the conveniences of modern living.
